Baby's day out

There is no joy equal to holding a day old baby!
I experienced it last week. It was serene.

I have read Osho Rajneesh say “A baby gives birth to a mother”
It’s after the birth of the baby that a woman becomes a mother and a man becomes a father and their parents ‘grand parents’ and so on and so forth.

A kid marks the starting of a lot of definitions for relationships
May be that’s why new born is referred as a bundle of joy.

I always thought, a woman can not be a mother if she can not see her child in every child. May be this is a broader aspect to explain but I always felt so. Contrary to this I have seen lots of women who differentiate clearly between her own child and other children.

This kind of instances has given raise to various questions in my mind.

Does a woman become mother only after giving birth ? Is it natural tendency to differentiate between your biological child and other children?

Well I have my own perspective to this but as every other relationship in the universe a child also brings with it a lot of questions which each one of us can answer in our own perspective :-)

Its better we follow our own thoughts in regard with out criticizing others :-)
