I love bread sandwiches since Childhood. Mom used to buy me a sandwich in return for my company with her to the market.
Mom used buy 2 sandwiches for her children. Some times she bought on more for her but she never had a chance to eat that. Third one was always shared by we sisters or it was given to me only.
It’s price then was 0.25 Rs (Yes I am saying the truth. It’s just 18-20 years back).
Whenever I see those sandwiches kept in a glass container in the bakery I remember the walks to the market with mom.
Today it costs around 2 Rs and I can buy it on my own. I need not go to market with mom for that. But I no more enjoy sandwich as I used to.
Should I start accompanying mom to market again?
