Last post of 2006 :-)

Paulo Coelho is one of my favorite authors. He always makes me think in a different way and most of the times, a positive way. I am thankful to him for that. I was thinking of posting some thing for Haritha (who reads this blog regularly) since morning. But some how I just couldn’t make up my mind (typical Swarna with procrastination, sis will kill me for this J)

I was going through some content on Paul’s site and suddenly I knew my words for this post.


“Don’t wait to learn the lessons until you have committed a mistake, you may not have time to commit all by your self” This is perfectly OK. We should always try to learn from other’s mistakes.

The other side to the story is, a mistake in some body else’s case might be the perfect thing to have happened for you. You might learn all together a new lesson from the same mistake. The wrong path for others might be a right one for you.

“God is above all an artist. He invented the giraffe, the elephant, and the ant. In fact, He never tried to follow a style – He simply went on doing what He felt like doing”. - Pablo Picasso.

So we, who are his children/creation, also should not follow a model. Not sure what the model comprises of and what are the exceptions to that. Will try to think about it.

I might construct some thing meaningful while trying one day, for now what I have are these scattered thoughts.
